Step Aside B-more, It is Chocolate City’s Turn

Don’t get me wrong. I got love for B-more, but it is about time that Chocolate City gets into the limelight. I live there for six years and I am alumni of Howard, and most of my peeps still live there. With Wale bringing that Go-Go sound to the masses, this might help get bands such as Northeast Groovers, Rare Essence and others some well deserved exposure. I only hope that DJs don’t start doing cheesy, low quality go-go remixes and mashups like they have done with some Club Music.
I want to thank the guys over at The Couch Sessions and The Fader for pointing out the cat Wale.
