Playlist for the Weekend of July 18th

July 20, 2008

I just got back from the Brookyln.  I attended the Afropunk and Brooklyn Hip Hop festival. It was crazy.  My recap post is coming soon.  I have a great story that involves Keith Murray and my boy Don Cuco!  This week we had new music from Q-Tip’s forthcoming album(courtesy of the guys over at The Couch Sessions), Minneapolis MC Muja Messiah (courtesy of our man Jon Jon of Black Corners), Wale’s Mixtape about Nothing, and a new duo out of Brooklyn No Surrender (they performed at the Afropunk festival).

Audio coming later this week.
