Lab Update: Terrible Two’s
July 27, 2007

I want to apologize for not posting anything in the last week. I have been out of town and work at the radio station as been a little hectic. I will be heading off to Minneapolis tomorrow for Don Cuco and Sarah White’s going away party with Rich Medina this Sunday. If you live in Brooklyn, say hi and welcome Don Cuco and Sarah White.
Also this weekend, the Rhythm Lab will be celebrating its two year anniversary, and over 100 shows. To mark this special occasion, there will be a special page on this blog with mixes and past interviews for your listening enjoyment. Interviews from Spank Rock, Ben Mono, Diplo & Bonde Do Role, DJ Junior, and Karen P. Plus some guest mixes from different DJs including JTodd, DJ Eleven, Pursuit Grooves, and more goodies. Look out for it later today.
Plus we have a special mix from DJ Moni out of New York on this week’s show. She is part of an all dj crew called Ubiquita. Check more about them here.
Moni was part of the Giant Step roster at the Winter Music Conference with acts like Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Simbad and Kruder & Dorfmeister. She recently became the first female DJ to mix the Cornerstone / Fader Magazine Suite 903 series. Moni has been named one of “New York City’s 15 Hottest DJ’s” and has been featured on the cover of the Village Voice, in the NY Post, Time Out NY, Suede, & Trace Magazines. She continues to spin her unique mix of music her Giant Step radio show, The Spectrum, with the Ubiquita crew and independently at clubs, corporate and private events.
