I love Rainydayz: Radiohead Remixes finally released

We mention sometime ago that Amplive from Zion I was working on a Radiohead ‘In Rainbows’ remix album entitled ‘Rainydayz Remixes’. He was planning to give it away to anyone who downloaded the In Rainbows album from Radiohead’s website (when it was still available for download). Apparently, Radiohead’s management issue a cease & desist. So the project was put on hold indefinitely until now….
You are one of MANY eager fans to order Amplive’s Radiohead remix album, by proving purchase of In Rainbows. But, as you probably know, a cease & desist put the breaks on the project last month, and its future has remained unclear. Until today. While Amp acknowledges that he probably should have contacted Radiohead (who were not involved in the project) to seek approval prior to making his interpretations publicly available, an agreement has been reached between all involved parties and Amplive has been granted permission to release Rainydayz Remixes for free to the general public… -from an email
I just downloaded and listen to it, and I have to say damn. I can see why Radiohead gave their approval. Listen and download for yourself. This is the future of music. Although Amplive will not make any money from the music, but most likely he will be in demand as a producer to produce tracks for other artists, and also people will probably starting booking him for shows. Kind of like a drug dealer policy (we do not support the use of illegal drugs), give a sample of your product away for free then get them hooked. Then you can start charging them.
Let me know what you think…
