Personally I find now a days there are very few good r&b singers out there up until now. I first heard of Joy Denalane an amazing singer from Germany from guys at the Couch Sessions. The album gives me the same feeling when I first heard Mary J. Blige’s ‘What’s the 411′. And for anyone that does not think the German language is sexy take a listen to her singing in German. Damn! Her new album has been out for awhile (only available as an import). You can get through Itunes though.
