Pownce on the Rhythm Lab
December 8, 2007 | 1 Comment

Hey guys and gals. The Rhythm Lab is now on Pownce. A social app that allows you to send messages, events and files to friends and the world if you want to. We think it is a real cool tool. There is even a desktop application so you won’t even need to go to the website and you can access through your iPhone. We have 10 invites to share with you. If you join, and become our friends you will get exclusive tracks and mixes and if you an artist you can send us your material. You can send up to 10mb for free. It will cost $20/year to send up to 100mb files. To get an invite go to our about page and fill it out with your name and email and submit it(the form is at the bottom of the page). Again this limited to 10 peeps. Once you join, you will get 6 invites for your friends. Check out our Pownce page.
Radiohead+Zion-I+Too Short

Yes you did read right. It is amazing how many people love the new Radiohead album, In Rainbows (including me). Amplive from Zion-I is no different. He loves it so much that he creating a remix album called Rainydayz Remixes. This 8-track record will feature various collaborations including none other than Too Short!
This remix album will be released in early Janurary and it will be free. However, there is a litte catch according to Pitchfork. You will need your email receipt from In Rainbows store to get the remix record.
On January 10, Amplive will release the online-only album for free as a .zip file with 320 kbps mp3s and high-resolution artwork, but to get your digital hands on it, there’s a bit of a catch. You need to forward any email from Radiohead’s W.A.S.T.E. online store (like but not at all limited to the ones confirming the purchase of In Rainbows) to amplive@onesevensevensix.com. It’s fairly simple, but a little tricky, especially considering that the In Rainbows download option ends December 10. Better hop on the free train while you still can, folks! -Pitchfork Media
I love this idea and I think this is the future of music marketing. So go grab In Rainbows, before you have to get it the old-fashion way (which is not that bad either).
