transformers3This next couple of years it will be the year of the robot. Childhood favorites The Transformers and Voltron will be made into live action films. Transformers will be released this July and directed by Michael Bay. I am kind of torn right now. The fact that Bumblebee is a mustang and not a beetle is kind of disturbing. I know I am a anime geek, but still. What if Ray Charles was performed by Toby Keith (same analogy). Then there is Voltron which is set to be released sometime in 2008. What make this is cool is that the soundtrack is produced by Pharrell. Time will tell if these flicks will live up to the anime counterparts.

I am really would love to see Robotech be made into a movie. The series had a better storyline and more complex characters than Transformers and Voltron. Well that is enough of this geeky post.

New Music from Cream City

The band is name Codebreaker. I saw these guys perform at Mad Planet in Milwaukee. They completely blew me away. I got their new cd ‘Exciled!’ and I have to say it is quite amazing. It kind of has that French Electro feel like Ed Banger, but funkier. We will be playing Codebreaker on this week’s show.
